As Vice President of Resource Development, Kimberly brings over seven years of development experience to the team. Having a deep personal commitment for advancing the lives of underserved children, Kimberly has shaped the fundraising initiatives of Boys & Girls Club Metro Los Angeles (BGCMLA) through her strategic vision, expansion of vital fundraising programs and securing transformational gifts that ensure the Clubs’ sustainable growth. In 2019, Kimberly was awarded the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Resource Development Professional for the Pacific Region for her outstanding leadership and innovative fundraising achievements. She was chosen in 2020 by BGCA to attend the Philanthropy Leadership Institute, a certificate program associated with Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Kimberly has been dedicated to the Boys & Girls Club movement for over 12 years and has previously served as a board member with the Boys & Girls Club of Burbank and Greater East Valley, member of the Los Angeles County Alliance of Boys & Girls Clubs Marketing & Fundraising Committee, and a presenter for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America on corporate fundraising strategies.


Prior to BGCMLA, Kimberly honed her skills in the for-profit world as a 24-year veteran of The Walt Disney Company, where as the Director of Global Business & Brand Development, she oversaw the long-lead development, production, and promotion of Disney on Ice theatrical shows worldwide. Additionally, she brings a breath of event-driven fundraising experience to the table as an independent contractor, where she has managed and produced many successful events including the NFL Owners Party for Super Bowl XLV, the Grand Opening of the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Dallas, TX, and the Mercy House homeless shelter and transitional living provider for the last 14 years running.


Kimberly holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from California State University, Long Beach, and participated in the Executive MBA program from Pepperdine University. She is also member of Associate Fundraising Professionals and serves on the L.A. Chamber Non-profit Counsel Board.
