Bell Gardens

About Us

The Boys & Girls Club of Bell Gardens is revitalized to reflect the technological needs of a modern learning environment. With critical need of professional space design and planning to maximize the facility, interior space layout options, concept renderings to help potential funders see the possibilities, were produced to emulate educational values of the Boys & Girls Club.

We recently partnered with Panera Bread’s Preservatives with a Purpose campaign.

The closure of Bell Gardens left a void in the community for after school care, something Police Chief Robert Barnes attributes to a recent uptick in youth crime.

Armed with tubs of paint made from artificial preservative Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT), tins of varnish made from Tertiary Butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), and rubber tiles containing Butylated Hydroxyanisole (BHA), the Panera team set about returning the club to its former glory.

The new paint job, rubber dance floor and varnished wooden basketball court was unveiled to the Bell Gardens community on March 19. Local kids and parents were invited to take part in basketball clinics, hip hop dance classes and mural painting, amongst other activities.

The day concluded with a feast of clean, preservative-free Panera sandwiches, soups and salads.
